TideGate Drain Collection

Solid-Brass Basin Drains. Heavy-Gauge Copper Floor Drains. Built to Last.

The TideGate Drain Collection brings solid-brass pop-up basin drains and heavy-gauge copper floor drains to the Shoreline plumbing lineup. From low-profile basin pop-ups to 600mm linear shower drains, every TideGate fixture is engineered for the same long-term reliability as our HarborFlow, TideStream, BayCrest, and RainCrest collections — and finished to match — backed by our lifetime limited warranty.

Built for Performance. Designed for Life.

Solid Brass & Solid Copper Construction

Pop-up basin drains are forged from solid brass; floor drains are built from solid copper (4mm standard, 9mm heavy-duty). Both are far more corrosion-resistant than the chrome-plated plastic or zinc-alloy drains commonly packaged with budget fixtures.

Finish-Matched to Shoreline Faucets

Every TideGate drain is finished to match our faucet lineup — Matte Black, Brushed Nickel, and Brushed Gold — using the same plating and brushing processes, so basin drains coordinate visibly with HarborFlow faucets and floor drains read as a matched set with RainCrest showers.

Engineered for Wet Installations

Floor drains use solid copper bodies from 4mm to 9mm thick, rated for decades of use in showers, balconies, laundry rooms, and commercial baths where thinner cast drains would eventually fail.

Three Designer Finishes

Matte Black, Brushed Nickel, and Brushed Gold — color-matched to the full Shoreline plumbing lineup so drains and faucets always coordinate.

Lifetime Limited Warranty

Every TideGate drain is backed by the same lifetime limited warranty that covers the rest of the Shoreline plumbing lineup — the warranty the installer actually sees on the spec sheet.

Frequently Asked Questions

Yes. The Newport (D02) and Kennebunk (D011B) basin drains use standard 1-1/4" US thread, which matches the outlet on every HarborFlow basin faucet we offer. Finish codes are shared across collections, so a Brushed Nickel HarborFlow Hatteras pairs with a Brushed Nickel Newport drain without color mismatch.

Both are square copper floor drains, but the Gloucester uses a 9mm thick body versus the Brunswick’s 4mm. Pick the Brunswick for standard residential shower, laundry, and balcony installs. Pick the Gloucester when you’re doing a high-flow rain shower, a commercial bath, or any wet-room install set in concrete where extra rigidity matters.

Yes — always. The drain body seals to the drain outlet, but the waterproofing membrane around the drain is what stops water from reaching the subfloor. This is a tile-setter / plumber responsibility, not a drain responsibility. A poorly-flashed drain is the most common cause of long-term water damage below tile floors, regardless of drain quality.

Both the Nantasket and Madaket are available in three lengths: 80 × 200mm (~8 in), 80 × 300mm (~12 in), and 80 × 600mm (~24 in). The 600mm size is our standard stock; the shorter lengths are available on request. Contact us for the exact configuration you need.

The Newport and Kennebunk are designed for basins with an integrated overflow cutout — which is the overwhelming majority of drop-in, undermount, and vanity-top sinks. For vessel sinks without an overflow, you’ll want a non-overflow pop-up (not currently in our line — contact us and we’ll recommend an alternative).

  • Finishes are warranted against tarnishing, peeling, corrosion, and discoloration under normal residential use.
  • Brass pop-up mechanisms are warranted to operate smoothly for the life of the product when properly maintained.
  • Copper floor drain bodies are warranted against corrosion failure under normal residential installation conditions.

Warranty Exclusions

  • Commercial, industrial, and rental installations require a separate commercial warranty — contact us for coverage details.
  • Damage caused by misuse, abuse, improper installation, or improper rough-in is not covered under this warranty.
  • Damage from harsh chemicals, abrasive cleaners, scouring pads, or acidic drain cleaners voids the finish warranty.
  • Normal wear on consumable parts such as O-rings and washers is not covered under this warranty.
  • Labor costs for removal, reinstallation, and any resulting water damage are the responsibility of the homeowner.

Care Guide

Routine Cleaning

  • Wipe drain tops with a soft, damp cloth and mild soap.
  • For pop-up drains, lift and rinse the stopper weekly to clear hair and soap buildup.
  • For floor drains, pull the grate monthly and rinse out accumulated debris.
  • Dry with a soft cloth to maintain the finish’s original luster.

Do Not Use

  • Abrasive cleaners, scouring pads, or steel wool on the finished surface.
  • Chemical drain cleaners (Drano, Liquid-Plumr, etc.) — these can attack the finish and the mechanical parts of pop-up drains.
  • Acidic bathroom cleaners directly on brushed or plated surfaces.

Pop-Up Drain Care

  • Lift the stopper and inspect the pivot rod annually for wear.
  • Clean the overflow channel with a small brush every few months to prevent clogs.
  • Apply a drop of plumber’s silicone grease to the pivot rod once a year.

Floor Drain Care

  • Flush floor drains with warm water monthly to keep the trap primed and odor-free.
  • Inspect the waterproofing membrane around the drain body during remodels — compromised waterproofing, not drain failure, is the leading cause of below-slab leaks.
  • Avoid pouring grease, paint, or construction slurry down floor drains.
