The Frankfort is a solid three-panel Shaker door — one wide panel across the top, two tall panels below — built on a 20-minute fire-rated core instead of the standard foam core. That is the rating most residential codes call for on the door between an attached garage and the living space, and it makes the Frankfort the right door for that opening as well as for side and service entries where glass isn't wanted. Single-bore prep for a keyed lever or knob (no separate deadbolt bore), prehung in a primed PVC jamb, factory-painted White or Black. Confirm the required rating with the local inspector before ordering for a code-driven opening.
