HarborForge Door Hardware
Solid-Forged Locks. Designer Finishes. Built to Last.
The HarborForge Collection brings residential door hardware to the Shoreline lineup — front-door handlesets in three sizes, six interior lever families spanning concealed-screw and exposed-screw construction in square-rose and round-rose silhouettes plus an aluminum-alloy designer profile, a classic tubular knobset for traditional interiors, and a trio of smart deadbolts (Wi-Fi and Bluetooth). Every piece is ANSI Grade 3 listed by Intertek — the residential performance benchmark for builders and property managers — and every lever, knob, and handleset is finish-matched to HarborFlow faucets, HarborCrest bath hardware, and AnchorLine cabinet pulls in the same Satin Nickel, Matte Black, and Brushed Gold palette. Solid zinc-alloy bodies, brass-plug Kwikset-compatible cylinders, lifetime limited warranty.
Built for Performance. Designed for Life.
ANSI Grade 3 Certified by Intertek
Every HarborForge lever and handleset is independently listed to the ANSI/BHMA Grade 3 residential performance benchmark — verified lifecycle, strength, and operational testing by Intertek, the same third-party cert body that lists our hydromassage tubs. Grade 3 is the standard builders and property managers reference when qualifying hardware for single-family and multifamily homes.
Finish-Matched to the Shoreline Lineup
HarborForge door hardware ships in Satin Nickel, Matte Black, and Brushed Gold — the same finish family as our HarborFlow faucets, HarborCrest bath hardware, and AnchorLine cabinet pulls. The finish on your front-door handleset can match the finish on your kitchen faucet across the whole house.
Solid Zinc + Stainless Construction
Every lever and handleset is built on a zinc-alloy core with ss304 stainless reinforcement at the rose. Brass cylinder plugs in keyed locksets resist corrosion and re-key cleanly to a standard Kwikset keyway.
Kwikset-Compatible Keyway
Keyed entries use a standard Kwikset 5-pin keyway, so a single locksmith visit can re-key every keyed lock in the house to one bitting — no need to carry a second key for the front door.
Adjustable Latch
Every latch in the line adjusts between 2⅜" and 2¾" backset, fitting existing door prep without re-drilling. Drop-in replacement for builder-grade hardware.
Smart-Deadbolt Options
The MDS line covers Wi-Fi smart deadbolts (proximity card + dynamic password + remote unlock) and a battery-friendly Bluetooth-only model — paired front-door access without ripping out your existing deadbolt prep.
Lifetime Limited Warranty
Every HarborForge piece is backed by the same lifetime limited warranty that covers the rest of the Shoreline lineup.

Certified to American Residential Door Hardware Standards
Every HarborForge lock and lever is ANSI Grade 3 listed by Intertek — verified compliance with the ANSI/BHMA performance standards for residential door hardware. Grade 3 is the benchmark used by the building industry to qualify lock hardware for single-family and multifamily homes; Grades 1 and 2 are commercial and institutional spec. Combined with our zinc-alloy + brass cylinder + ss304 stainless construction and the lifetime limited warranty, the line is meaningfully better than typical builder-grade hardware.
Standards Met:
- ANSI/BHMA Grade 3 — residential performance benchmark
- Lifecycle testing — verified mechanical endurance
- Strength testing — door-frame and lock-resistance verification
- Operational testing — finish, latch, and cylinder integrity
- Listed by Intertek — independent third-party certification
Frequently Asked Questions
Entry uses a brass keyed cylinder — locks from outside with a key, unlocks from inside with a thumbturn. Used on home offices, master suites, and any interior door you want to be lockable from outside. Privacy uses a push-button lock with a coin-slot emergency release — used on bathrooms and bedrooms. Passage has no lock at all and turns freely from both sides — used on closets, hallways, and pantries. Dummy is a single-side decorative lever with no latch — used on the inactive half of double doors and pull-only doors.
Every HarborForge keyed lock uses a standard Kwikset 5-pin keyway and is re-keyable. A locksmith can re-key the lock to match your existing house key in about 10 minutes per cylinder. New-construction installs ship with three brass keys cut to a factory bitting — re-key when you take occupancy.
Levers and handlesets ship in three finishes — Satin Nickel, Matte Black, and Brushed Gold — chosen to coordinate with the rest of the Shoreline lineup (HarborFlow faucets, HarborCrest bath hardware, AnchorLine cabinet pulls). The smart deadbolts (Provincetown, Truro, Edgartown) ship in Matte Black only because the keypad and electronics housing are matte-finished from the factory.
Almost certainly. The latch on every lever and handleset is adjustable between 2⅜" and 2¾" backset — the two standard residential prep depths. Door thickness is supported from 1⅜" to 1¾" (every standard interior and exterior door). Smart deadbolts use the same standard 2⅛" cross-bore and 1" edge-bore as a builder-grade deadbolt, so they're a drop-in replacement.
The Provincetown and Truro use Wi-Fi for remote unlock and remote password generation, but the keypad, proximity card, and mechanical-key override all work without an internet connection — if Wi-Fi is down, you can still unlock the door at the keypad, with a card, or with the emergency key. The Edgartown is Bluetooth-only and never relies on Wi-Fi at all.
Every HarborForge lock and lever is ANSI Grade 3 listed by Intertek — verified compliance with the ANSI/BHMA performance standards for residential door hardware (lifecycle, strength, and operational testing). Grade 3 is the benchmark builders and property managers use to qualify hardware for single-family and multifamily homes; Grades 1 and 2 are commercial and institutional spec, not residential. Combined with the zinc-alloy + brass cylinder + ss304 stainless rose reinforcement and the lifetime limited warranty, that's a meaningfully better spec than typical builder-grade hardware.
All six are residential interior lever families that share the Shoreline finish palette and ANSI Grade 3 cert — the differences are rose shape, lever profile, construction tier, material, and which functions ship. Wellfleet (S3201) is the design tier — concealed-screw zinc + ss304 stainless square rose, no visible fasteners, all four functions including keyed Entry. Hyannis (B2021) is mid-upscale — exposed-screw zinc + ss304 stainless square rose with a slightly more substantial lever profile than Falmouth, all four functions. Falmouth (B2022) is the value tier — same exposed-screw zinc + ss304 stainless construction, standard lever profile, accessible price, all four functions. Brewster (S9169) is the minimalist alternative — concealed-screw zinc square rose with an ultra-thin flat-bar lever profile that reads as architectural trim, three functions (no Entry). Cohasset (S9270) is the designer alternative — concealed-screw aluminum-alloy lever and rose, sculpted contoured grip, lighter weight in hand, three functions (no Entry). Yarmouth (R9163) is the round-rose family — concealed-screw zinc round rose for residential interiors where a square rose reads too contemporary, three functions (no Entry). For Brewster, Cohasset, and Yarmouth you'll need to pair with a HarborForge handleset or smart deadbolt for the front door, and use the Brewster / Cohasset / Yarmouth on interior bedroom / bath / closet doors only.
The three families share a manufacturing pattern that pairs them with handleset / deadbolt entry hardware rather than putting a keyed cylinder in the lever or rose itself. The thinking is that for a finished home, the keyed entry is almost always going on the front door (handleset) and back door (smart deadbolt or handleset), while the interior bedroom / bath / closet doors don't need a key — Privacy / Passage / Dummy is enough. Pair any HarborForge handleset (Camden / Bar Harbor / Stonington) or smart deadbolt (Provincetown / Truro / Edgartown) with the Brewster / Cohasset / Yarmouth interior set and the whole house reads as one finish-matched system.
Hingham is the traditional / colonial / farmhouse alternative to the lever lineup — a classic round ball knob on a round rose, available in all four standard residential functions (Entry, Privacy, Passage, Dummy). The rule of thumb: levers read contemporary, modern, transitional; knobs read traditional, colonial, farmhouse, classical. ADA accessibility regulations favor levers over knobs (a closed fist can operate a lever, not a knob), but for residential single-family homes that's a guideline, not a code requirement. The Hingham uses the same brass-plug Kwikset-compatible cylinder family as the lever sets, so the rekey workflow is identical across the line — and the same finish palette, so a Satin Nickel Hingham knobset on a closet door reads with a Satin Nickel Wellfleet lever on the office door across the hall.

Care Guide
Routine Cleaning
- •Wipe with a soft, damp cloth and mild soap to remove fingerprints and surface grime.
- •Dry with a soft cloth after cleaning to maintain the finish's original luster — do not let water pool around the rose plate.
- •A weekly polish with a dry microfiber keeps Brushed Gold and Satin Nickel at their brightest.
Do Not Use
- •Abrasive cleaners, scouring pads, or steel wool on any finished surface.
- •Ammonia-based cleaners, bleach, or acidic citrus-based degreasers — these will dull plated finishes within a few applications.
- •Lubricants other than dry graphite or PTFE-based products in a keyed cylinder — wet oils trap dust and grit inside the keyway.
Installation Notes
- •Door prep should match a standard 2⅛" cross-bore × 1" edge-bore (the residential ANSI standard); the latch adjusts between 2⅜" and 2¾" backset.
- •Tighten the rose set screw with the included hex key — do not over-torque, as zinc-alloy threads will strip before the screw breaks loose.
- •On smart deadbolts, install fresh alkaline AA batteries (4 cells) at first install — lithium and rechargeable cells can give false low-battery readings.
Long-Term Finish Protection
- •Address door drip, paint runs, or sealant overspray promptly — caulk that hardens on a finished rose can pit the surface when scraped off.
- •Matte Black hardware benefits from periodic light buffing with a dry microfiber to remove fingerprint oils.
- •For exterior handlesets in salt-air environments, a quarterly wipe with a barely-damp cloth and dry-off keeps salt deposits from etching the finish over time.
