Galvanized Steel Porch Flashing
2.5″ × 1.5″ × 0.25″ × 10′
Heavier-duty galvanized steel flashing for porch-to-wall transitions and structural-adjacent details. Stronger than aluminum at cost of more weight.
Galvanized steel flashing in a kicker profile for porch deck-to-wall transitions, where wood meets siding and structural movement loads call for more rigidity than aluminum. Steel won't deform from accidental impact (a board dropped on aluminum will dent; this won't). Hot-dip galvanizing handles the moisture exposure typical of porch construction; cut edges should still be sealed in high-corrosion environments.
