Shoreline Brands warrants HarborCrest bath hardware to be free from defects in material and workmanship under normal residential use for as long as the original purchaser owns the home.

Finishes are warranted against tarnishing, corrosion, and discoloration under normal residential use for the life of the original homeowner.

Coverage

✓Hardware is warranted free from manufacturing defects in materials, machining, and assembly for the life of the original purchaser.

✓Finishes are warranted against tarnishing, peeling, corrosion, and discoloration under normal residential use.

✓Concealed mounting plates and fasteners are covered against structural failure under normal installation conditions.

Exclusions

✗Commercial, industrial, and rental installations require a separate commercial warranty — contact us for coverage details.

✗Damage caused by misuse, hanging weight beyond the piece’s rated capacity, improper installation, or removal is not covered.

✗Damage from harsh chemicals, abrasive cleaners, or acidic bathroom products voids the finish warranty.

✗Labor costs for removal, reinstallation, and any resulting wall damage are the responsibility of the homeowner.

Care Guide

Routine Cleaning

•Wipe with a soft, damp cloth and mild soap to remove water spots and soap residue.

•Dry with a soft cloth after use to maintain the finish’s original luster.

•A weekly polish with a dry microfiber keeps Brushed Gold and Brushed Nickel at their brightest.

Do Not Use

•Abrasive cleaners, scouring pads, or steel wool on the finished surface.

•Ammonia-based cleaners, bleach, or acidic bathroom products.

•Citrus-based degreasers directly on any plated or brushed surface.

Installation Notes

•Always mount into wall studs, tile backer with proper anchors, or a plywood-reinforced wall cavity.

•Use the included wall-anchor set for drywall installs — standard drywall anchors alone are not sufficient for towel bars that carry wet-towel weight.

•Tighten the concealed set screw in small increments — over-torquing can crack the mounting plate.

Long-Term Finish Protection

•Address leaks or persistent moisture promptly to prevent mineral staining around mounting points.

•Matte Black and Brushed Gold finishes benefit from periodic light buffing with a dry microfiber.

•Store towels that are dripping wet on the outer bar of a towel bar, not the wall — chronic wet-wall contact can pit even corrosion-resistant finishes over decades.
